The stitches are gone!
Well we went down to the see the doctor to get M's stitches removed. She did aazimngly well. She was calm and didn't cry. She did get a little jumpy when they cut the stitch, but otherwise she did fantastic. Then when they were all done they asked if she wanted her brace back on and she was all over putting it back on - funny kid ( Read more... ) -
Madelyn walks!!!!
It was very exciting today M walked down the length of the kitchen island. V walked in front of her to coax her but she did it on her own. I was beginning to think she wouldn't walk before her birthday after all. Yaaaa! -
Dinner Recipe
Made up a recipe for dinner last night that turned out rather good and is not that many calories for the quantity of food you can eat. I put it in Master cook so that I could check the nutritional info. V liked it and so did the girls which is always a plus. It is not a quick meal though. Garden woes
If you don't know, I LOVE yellow summer squash. I live for it and all the other veggies from the garden in the summer. So far this year we have had 4 separate harvests of squash, which I am loving, but I do feel like there just is not enough squash being produced. Work days suck!
I am sad that the holiday is over now because Dad had to go back to work today. Although even on Holidays he is sitting here trying to get work done. It seems that he is always working when he is not helping with the girls, but I would rather have that than him off at some other location for work ( Read more... ) -
The ramblings of a 2 year old...
Are quite amusing. G woke up this morning and was going on and on about going for a walk to the library and taking her stoller shopping. She cracks me up sometimes with stuff. Going to the library every day is going to get old soon though ( Read more... ) -
M pulls herself up.
I almost forgot. M pulled herself up to a standing position all on her own today. It was rather exciting.
This past week she also managed to get to a sitting position from lying down.
Still no sign of actually crawling, but she is getting close. She does a pike position and holds it, or gets up onto all fours, but eventually ends up on her
