the lost art of letter-writing

So I had a big manila envelope stuffed into my Collections office mailbox this morning. I opened it up and found the most adorable thing ... a packet of letters written by a first grade class. These letters, however, were written to the penguins, not to the a keeper like we normally get

And I can say with some degree of certainty that it's the first set of fanmail the penguins have gotten. :)

That is so adorable. I can totally imagine what the actual letters look like. I'd be curious to see a few of the responses you send to the kids. :)
