Ugh, I HATE the trade deadline.  Especially this year since Lowrie is probably huge trade bait, nobody wants Mike Lowell, and the Yankees may be pursuing Joakim Soria, who I've been wanting to see on the Sox for a quite while now.  I can't wait to go on vacation, but I won't be able to keep tabs on deadline day, which is going to be nervewracking.

agreed...at least i got to catch 3 of the 4 games vs the mariners this week (and jed played in 2 of them for the whole game! :)!!)

It's pretty good, in my oh-so-humble opinion. :) It's fairly easy to make, too, if you have the right gear. But it takes forever. D:

I highly doubt the Yankees get Soria. They offered Jesus Montero for him and the Royals were basically like lolno. And he's pretty much their top prospect, so. And I think Lowell will end up somewhere - Texas and the Tigers seem to be interested, I think I heard? But we'll see.

That's good to hear. Soria is at the top of my personal list of "Guys I Want to See in a Boston Uniform" (he took over the top spot after we got Cash back).

Last I heard they were both losing interest in Lowell. I don't really want him to go anywhere, but I'm more concerned with Jed not going anywhere right now.
