I have one less gall bladder than I had two days ago. I didn't even know it was pissed off at me, but here we are, separated for all eternity, without a word of warning. Ungrateful bastid.
Thanks to everyone who called, wrote and stopped by. I feel all loved and stuff. ; )
Dilaudid is good stuff. I highly recommend it.

I know what you're going through and I'm SO sorry. But I'm so glad it's taken care of. Let me know if you need anything.

So did yours come on all-of-the-sudden, too? There you were, minding your own business, and wham?

1) Panic attack
2) Gas pain
3) Food poisoning
4) Flu
5) Acid reflux
Finally, I went to (of all places) my college's health clinic, and they got it right off the bat. The doc took one look at me, palpated my abdomen and said, "Yup, gall bladder. It's gotta come out today." Sure enough, I had a stone a little larger than a cherry pit. Yikes!
If you haven't been having problems before this, consider yourself blessed. I know getting surgery and the pain of the attack are miserable, but having it more times is more misery.
I hope you feel better soon. I'm thinking of you, hon.

At first, I was all tickled because there were male nurses around in the same ratio as females. But then I noticed the male nurses are all cold and detached and pretty damned unfriendly. I'm sure there are exceptions, but the representative sample blew.
