The nice young woman - AnaD -  who was my cupping bottom for the demo at PEP took me out for a very delicious lunch at Sushi Den today.  I chipped in a little because I wanted to get some more expensive things on the menu and didn't want to hurt her bank account.   When the waiter picked up the folding ... thingy with the bill and her card and my $ ( Read more... )

Where did you say you got those antique hand-strap massagers again? Wasn't able to find it when I was reading back, and someone I know brought them up last night and how much they'd LOVE to have a set.

You know, if that waiter keeps on ripping off the sushi restaurant, it might not be in business much longer.... Things are so bad right now in the economy that I bet their profit margin is razor thin. If this guy is doing it habitually, and for amounts in the $20 range (or higher? who knows), then they could be taking a huge hit over time.

Maybe an anonymous tip to the restaurant, if you like it?

I thought about that mssaskia December 24 2008, 22:28:04 UTC
I'm vaccilating. I didn't catch the name of the waiter or the second guy, but they probably could figure it out if I told them which day and which section I was in at lunch.

I've been eating there for 20 years. Waiters do come and go. My loyalties are usually with the workers, but now that I'm running a business myself, I'm starting to see things a little differently.
