I gotta make up a boba dance. I think it'd involve lots of butt shaking.

Wasn't sure how it'd keep in the fridge overnight. Thought it might get waaaay squishy and mushy. Nope. Still good for noms. A few turds clotted together but the urethral sound ice mold broke it up just fine.

I'm not so much about bobas, though they are kinda fun once in a while.

Me, I like the lychee jellies. My standard drink at lollicup is lavender milk tea with lychee jellies.

Kamasushi (above) and her partner introduced me to Lollicup a few days ago. Her partner's favorite is the lavender snow thingy. I'm boring and got the Thai iced tea boba for myself and a cherry snow boba thingy to take back to the artist working on the sissy salon at the studio. Will have to try the lavender one sometime.

I'm curious about the coconut jelly. Will have to try the lychee sometime when someone else has it. It's not my favorite flavor, but it's not bad.

Taro is the bestest though! All full of purpley goodness and my tongue is ver-ah happy when I have it!

Of course, purple is always good. :D

Maybe we could go in on a lychee jelly together sometime since I'm not brave enough to try it on my own!

Ah, see, lychee is one of my favorite fruits, so of course I love the jellies. If it's not your thing, they make a mango jelly that's quite nice too.

Steve and I also like the watermelon snow and the banana-strawberry snow. Those are VERY good on hot days.

The second line needs two more syllables -- perhaps "I had Boba Thai iced tea"?

(By the way, what is Boba Thai iced tea, or nuoc mam?)

Gah. You're right. I had something else for that line at first and changed it. D'oh. Fixed now!

Boba is this big tapioca stuff that goes in the bottom of various drinks, generally of the smoothie type but also the more liquidy stuff, like coffees and teas. You need a straw that's about big enough to stick your thumb into so you can suck the big balls of black tapioca up into it. It's texturally entertaining and pretty filling.

And nuoc mam is the Thai name for "fish sauce." It's a salty, savory, surprisingly not really fishy-tasting sauce that comes from fermenting sardines (or other small oily fish) with salt. Thai cuisine uses it where Chinese and Japanese cuisines use soy sauce.
