I LOVED this movie, too. But yeah, I knew I would, given that Joss Whedon was involved. I got a kick out of seeing old Buffy/Angel actors in there, too ( ... )

I managed to avoid all trailers and spoilers, so, I didn't even know about the underground lab until the movie started. I was actually expecting a send up of the slasher genre like "Tucker and Dale Versus Evil." DAMN, was it far more than that!

I love Angry Molesting Tree, too. So many of the monsters have great names. The cenobite is credited as Fornicus, Lord of Pain and Bondage.

Ahhh! That's who that was! That was another fun thing: guessing the references to other classic characters. Maybe Kevin is supposed to be like Jason. Although I'd like to imagine him as some tax accountant who kills you by making you do endless IRS forms. :D ( ... )
