Torchwood: Miracle Day

 I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but have enjoyed it. I'm eager to see the next few as soon as *someone* (hint, hint) sets up a viewing party.

Have you been watching it?  How do you feel about "Americanized" Torchwood?

It's slow? (The pacing just isn't right.) The characters are good, although I'm still on the fence with Mekhi's character.

But Jack is Jack, and Gwen is now a badass, so I'm happy.

I'm pleasantly surprised. Still the naughty, raunchy, adultish goofiness. The only thing that's pissin' me off are these people blowing their cover to get in touch with family. I realize its part of the plot but GAH! C'mon! Jack had to KILL his nephew, he's not going to have any sympathy for you dingbats. They seem a lot more incautious than before. Still, I'm gonna watch the whole thing. :)

If this is going to be an action show, I'm wondering how long we'll have Rhys & The spud. Maybe they can be put in stasis except on Christmas?
