I created a tumblr account this past month. I normally discuss completely different things than on LJ. I have family members that read my tumblr and there are certain things here on LJ I certainly would not want them to read ( Read more... )

I checked your tumblr out, and the firt entry said "Fuck Guinness", so I think I might have to not be your friend anymore. :P I've never really known what tumblr is. I'm friggin sick of LJ though. Only like 4 ppl update ever.

haha Yeah, I'm not a huge Guinness fan I must say. I have tried to get used to the taste and I just can't.

I have a tumblr I made awhile ago but have never really used it... you are inspiring me :) Sometimes I just want to post random stuff but it doesn't fit on LJ or Facbeook.

my older sister is on Tumblr as well :) You may want to check out her page on there. Her name is nicole-io :) It really is a place where I post much more random things than I do here on LJ.

I read the Diva Cup entry and wanted to post a reply but I'm not on tumblr, so I didn't.

I tried them, basically. The idea works well, and I think someone normal sized would like them, as they're very convenient, once you get past the weird novelty of taking them in and out and emptying them. However, I can't use them because I'm such a small person and the sizes they had were just a little too big for me to be comfortable. You're not supposed to feel it when it's in all the time and I did. However, you should try them if you're intrigued. If they had had a super tiny size for midgets, I would still be using them.

I didn't think you needed a tumblr account in order to be able to respond... but I could be wrong :) I think you may just need to create a username/password or you can post as a guest...

I am definitely going to try the Diva Cup... if I ever get my period again. It's been 48 days since my last.

Oh for fucksakes. I wasn't even disagreeing with you. Reread my comment. I wasn't saying that marriage or monogamy is essential. I said that our culture VIEWS it as essential and thats a major problem-- people rush into bad marriages that end up not working out because of social pressure.

You know, I enjoyed your posts because you have similar interests to mine, are educated, but have some views that are different from mine. It's a shame you seem to only want people around you willing to nod their heads in unison.

Honestly Candi, I AGREED with what you were saying for the most part. Although I am an anti-essentialist that doesn't mean that I don't respect other people's opinions.

The reason I deleted your comment and the reason I will continue deleting your comments from this day forward (or just block you) is because of what you are doing right now- creating drama in my LJ. I decided MONTHS ago about this, which is why you are no longer on my friends list if you haven't already noticed.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me. that's life. hahaha but thanks for your assumption. Now please leave me alone and bring your drama somewhere else. Thanks.
