Some people won't agree with this. Some people are going to get pissed off by this. Either way, it's strictly my opinion. If you don't agree with it, then by all means, do what you feel necessary aka unfriend me if you feel THAT strongly about it lol ( Read more... )

I've gotten pregnant while using hormonal birth control pills. And often pulling out. As a result, I won't really ever trust them again. Since then I'm convinced its because I regularly (daily) took those 1000mg vitamin Cs, and I've read since they can interfere with birth control. It's not exactly something they put in the leaflet!
In fact, I want Cormac to have a vasectomy because I don't really want to subject my body to any other form of birth control ever again (although I have considered a copper IUD, I'm unsure if they are available in Ireland). There's no way I'm taking birth control pills AND using a condom, its just not going to happen, lol.

I mean, I understand what you are saying and I think a lot of women make a lot of excuses. I always say Jane was unexpected, more than being an accident.

I understand what you are saying. I don't think any woman should be forced to take any kind of birth control. I think it should be completely up to the woman and man if they want to use birth control and which type they want to use. All have some form of side effects and/or risks. I just get really irked when people say they "accidentally" got pregnant, yet they weren't taking any precautions.... or not enough.

I know some couples that claim they were using condoms and oral contraceptive and still got pregnant. I think those types of situations are more the exception than the rule by far.

I agree, you are probably right. I take offense since I know that personally I was one of the very few.

Another thing that I wish more women were aware of is the morning after pill. If you have any doubts at all, go out there and get it!

oh I agree. Back when I used to go to Planned Parenthood they always discussed it and offered it to women when they did have a visit.

Hell, when I came to Ireland I brought my six extra packs of it with me! haha and... I have had to use it!
