Nice to see a post from you again. I'm sorry about Charlotte, but I'm glad she's with a loving family.

And enjoy the gardening! I started for the first time this year and it was fun. It's nice to come home and spend time doing things with my hands instead of using brain power. It's hard work but still very relaxing and fulfilling to get plants to grow.

Yes, maybe that's why I love the idea of gardening... it's hard work, but I can kind of put my brain on autopilot. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it this year! I am excited about it. The growing season can't get here quickly enough!

The idea of Bit falling into the tub is giving me much amusement this morning.

Tell her I said "sorry" for laughing at her expense. :)

(Hopefully you did not sustain any scratch marks from that experience. The one time Zahara fell into the tub with me, I was scarred.)

Sorry to hear about Charlotte. There's nothing I can say to help except maybe that our thoughts and prayers are with you. As asetwoman pointed out, she could not be in a better home right now.

Thanks for the update and Merry Christmas!

Boadiccea: Don't feel bad. We were laughing so hard we could barely stand up, even when she was standing there, dripping wet and looking like a drowned rat. :) And no, amazingly she did not scratch me at all.

Gospog: Yeah, we're doing the best we can for Char. I think she is finally starting to realize that. She has been super-affectionate with both of us throughout the holiday weekend! I'm enjoying snuggling with her on the couch in the afternoons.
