so this time i'm looking at the movies that were shot in baltimore (or other areas of maryland that i'm familiar with). of course the ones that come to mind first are of course John Waters films...but for some reason I always remember that For Richer or Poorer and The Runaway Bride (though apparently they portrayed baltimore as new york) were shot ( Read more... )

Dave - apparently some of this was filmed at Camden Yards? it's funny cuz all of the locations are in MD/DC and then there's one in CA (the "White House Exterior")

Yeah, there is one scene where he throws the first pitch at a ballgame

Random Hearts - never saw it but they were very specific about where they shot in Baltimore: "In Baltimore's outer harbor just off the Key Bridge on I695" The story involved a plane crash in the Bay. Sucky movie.

Replacements - I love the scenes where they are driving around the industrial areas by the stadium and you see all of these formstone rowhouses which are so Baltimore, but they are still trying to pass it off as DC
