Doilygate 2008 has ended. Mostly because I ran out of thread, and it's ecru, so I'd never be able to match the dyelot.

Oh! I just bought a super-awesome knitting booklet from the early '60s with some cute things in it. And I have a neat booklet from the 1930s. I should figure out how to share it on the internet, because I believe they're all shareable.

Those all look early '60s to me!

ETA: This is the booklet that I just bought. I really want to make that black dress with the lacy top in the third picture. It's cute, without being costume-y, if you know what I mean.
