I went and saw X3 and while I didn't hate it and would see it again(although not in theaters) I was dissappointed.  My disappointment

Ryan and I went to see X-men3 today and I have to say that I agree with your review of the movie. I just didn't feel for the movie like I did for the other 2. I knew going in that this was supposed to be the last of the X-Men movies with most (if not all) of this current cast. So it wasn't really a big surprise with alot that happened.

I doubt if I'll bother seeing this one again. Which is sad because I really enjoyed the other 2 so much. :-(

Yeah, that's why I am disappointed ... Because X2 raised the bar as far as comic book films go .... that movie is a truly GREAT FILM, comic book based or not ... This one, as a follow up is not even in the same ballpark of the first X film ... I know that the ending left it open for future films and Ian McKellen was perfect once again but I just didn't like how they rushed it .. that was the problem ... The way all the major points were presented and then rushed through was just unforgivable ...

I loved a lot of things about X3 but there were certain that did get rushed. They movie could have been longer, so that the emotional element could have played up more but all in all I REALLY enjoyed the flick.

I've never been big on the Oilers so I say GO DUCKS. ;o)

PS - The new look at MM is FANTASTIC Mattykins. Awesome job love. *hugs*

The Oilers won and I found myself smiling, I wanted the Ducks to stretch the series but like I said before it is impossible for me not to feel happy for the Oilers ... Now they wait the winner of the Sabres and the Canes .. .

Do not get me wrong, I didn't dislike the film, I was just disappointed that such great concepts and ideas were so rushed that it didn't let me emotionally connect to the film like I did for #2 or even #1 ...
