BTW, Cedric is REALLY hot hot hot...
Are you only just realizing this =P

I'm not sure what was funnier, the twins or Myrtle in the bathroom. The whole of the summer through to the start of november in 10 minutes was a bit odd, but some reason they didn't think people could sit for a 3 hour movie. I just loved the graveyard scene. The effects for Voldie's rebirth...awesome. Ralph was fabulous as Voldie, he can do bad so good. I loved that Ferret scene since I saw the clip. It's just hilarious.

I'll be interested to see what they do about the Rita bit that was left out for the next one. I think of that as a fairly important bit in OOTP, and they left out the setup.

They could have Hermione threaten her with something else, who knows .. but I think we will get yummy stuff as far as deleted scenes are concerned in the DVD

That was to be expected but I just thought that the changes that they made made the movie work as a movie ... is like, if I didn't know the book so well I wouldn't feel like anything was missing ... it was done that well

I saw the film last night with Ryan! I really enjoyed it.
I've only read this book once (gasp!)lol but I could still remember alot from what happened onscreen. Ryan mentioned things being missing, but for the most part he said what was there was really good.

LOVED Cedric, and I too cried when he died! I knew it was coming up, and tried to brace myself for it, but alas, the tears came!

Was very glad to have Jason back in the film again! I missed him in the last one.

Really enjoyed Ralph as Voldemort! He was the one I was most looking forward to seeing this time around.

I think I'll need to see the movie again, just to catch things I probably missed the first time around!

Yeah, I knew that Cedric was going to die and in the book what hit me was what happened to Harry in the Graveyard and then when he found out about the betrayal of the fake-Moody once he returned to school ... Since we hadn't gotten to know Cedric well his death didn't affect me like the death in book 5 ... but seeing it onscreen was completely different, specially when they got back to Hogwarts and Harry was freaking out and Cedric's father was screaming for his son ...

The movie was frigging fantastic, the graphics and the way they handled such a huge book really was commendable. I agree with you on the most of it and I agree with your friend on the changes ... it was bloody periwinkle! and the dragons were chained for safety reasons but they had to glamourise it a bit more I suppose. Fred and George cracked me up in this movie as did the few Snape scenes that they had .. his getting physical with the boys was hilarious it was just so Snape (and I realise how bad this sounded) but yeah fanfreakingtastic movie and by far my fav movie of them all.

I totally agree ... That scene, and I've seen the movie twice now .. is completely hilarious .. At both theaters that I went to see it the crowed just ate up the Snape scene when he was getting "physical" with Harry, and specially Ron ... it was TOO Freaking funny, and then when he pulled his sleeves back? The crowds just totally lost it then lol ...

Fred asking Angelina out? Had me rolling

LOL Yes I agree that was one of the most hilarious scenes in the movie ... not sure I'd say yes to being asked out like that tho ... I think they could've done better on Parvati and Padma's outfits tho ... the physical bit had me in tears it was too funny ... Oh and Ron trying to tell Harry about the dragons that had me cracking up too ....

Did you find the Hagrid and Maxine stuff cute? I thought it was adorable ... he was so flustered ...

I think it's the Twins charm though ... I loved that they did it like that in the movie since that's how J.K. has him do it in the books and it's such a Twins thing to do too which made all the more funny ...

I think that they went for traditional dresses but I've seen prettier ones ...

I found the Hagrid and Madame Maxime stuff really cute and wasn't upset at all that they cut their argument ...

Visually, Cuaron did set the standards for the series, but I think Newell did a MUCH better job at adapting the story. There were things that were cut out of the POA movie that made me mad.
I LOVED this movie! I am going to see it again on Thanksgiving, and I can't wait! It is so awesome.

Oh, and I will write to Krum anytime he wants! Krum=teh hawt!

I think that from a visual and an emotional standpoint PoA was beyond excellent ... What I didn't like about the film all revolved on how I didn't think that the Marauders story was told adequately enough

I'm kind of glad I haven't read the books. This way, my slate is totally clean and...untarnished by me having a pre-set opinion about how the world should look like...hehe, if you get what i mean. i think all the films are good, and they just keep getting better with each volume! the fourth one is just...brathtaking. they had me at the very intro! and the dragons...oh my!

she, and I mean Emma, and Dan just sizzle onscreen. It isn't hard to see why there are so many H/Hr shippers out there due to the films. When Dan and Emma have a scene together their chemistry is instant, where I find that she and Rupert have to work at it instead of it being natural.hehe of course i have to comment on that...because i whole heartedly agree. im aware that the books reek of R/H...but im willing to ignore that cause well, i havent read'em ;) i DO however see poential with ron & hermione...cause they fit the stereotype. they fit the bill of the bickering "friends" that are always commenting eachother and picking eachother apart. and to me, thats ( ... )

Are you planning on reading the books once the movies are done though? You should, you will love them ...

Emma and Dan are just close ... if you watch the behind the scenes stuff with them in it you can just see it .. they are always teasing each other and playing with each other ... That easy goingness translates to the screen .. where Rupert is more quiet and reserved and just stands back ..
