This is very much brill. I don't think I'd ever seen "caught masturbating" as one of the ways in which Bertie and Jeeves got together. (If you lot feel like proving me wrong, indeedsir, I'd love to read more fic now that I'm in a stopping point in the thesis o' doom)

This could have been incredibly awkward and ill-conceived, but it is proof of your darn good writing skills that this fic was actually warm and fuzzy with the hotness extra.

Thanks for sharing!

Awww, you are *very* sweet! Warm and fuzzy with hotness extra is what I always strive for when I write J/W... they are so adorable together!

I hadn't thought about it, but I don't know if this subject has been used before to tell how they got together. Now that you mention it, I'm curious, too! :D

Thanks for reading and for your lovely comment.

I just wanted to say how marvellous your icon is here, (I was watching it and laughing for ages, especially "Even his bloody phoenix is laughing at me.") - and generally cheer for the fact that you seem to be a fellow fan of both Snape and Jeeves/Wooster :-) I wonder how Severus and Jeeves would get along were they to meet, and who would win the battle of wits....

I say no one has a more powerful brain than Jeeves. Even with his magic power, Snape would fall under Jeeves power of utter thingness. ;)

Yes, Jeeves is definitely courageous in his pursuit of Bertie! And, of course, you're right... Bertie is helpless to resist. But not that he wants to! :D

Thank you, m'dear, for reading and your lovely comemnt! *hugs*

Sooooo much love for this fic, darling. Your Bertie-voice just gets better and better. The opening paragraphs are just totally Wodehousian - your turn of phrase is utterly perfect. I adore how stealing his socks and burning down his cottage are about on par for Bertie, the expressions "other end of the blower" and "gasing on", and the whole conversation with Jeeves about Bertie's outfit for going to the movies. SO good ( ... )

Awww, my darling, your compliments are so lovely and so much appreciated!

Hee! yes! In Bertie's mind, pretty much anything that disturbs his status quo is equivalent, whether it's stealing socks or burning down houses.

Hmmm... when I see "gasing" in your comment, I think maybe it should be "gassing"... I'm gonna fix that!

My youth spent watching old movies is paying off to be able to come up with expressions like that.

Yayayayaya for Bingo and Barmy in-character! I was a little worried about them, so I'm glad you thought they turned out well.

Yayayayayayyyyyy for guuuuuuuhhhhhhh!!!! Hee! *mops up sky puddle and collects in bucket*

Ooooohh, yes, I think Bertie is an absolute romantic. And so much yes for his complete and utter love for his Jeeves!

As always, m'dear, thank you for your support and encouragement in this. Your invaluable assistance made this a much better piece than how it started! I am so happy and proud that you are my beta!!

*hugs* and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Oh dear this is simply smashing. I love that it was Bertie who saw Jeeves, and that his revelation didn't all come at once when he saw what he did. I like that he was on the verge of it by himself.

Delicious, darling, well done.

Awwww, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this interpretation; I liked the idea that Bertie find Jeeves instead of the other way around, too. And then, of course, that put Jeeves in a posish to find Bertie and for love to blossom. Hurrah!

Thank you again, my darling! *hugs*

Wow. That is just...beyond the pale. Or the dark. Or any of the shades in between the two.

i am thoroughly reduced to a puddle.

Wow, I feel it quite an accomplishment to be simultaneously beyond both light and dark. Hee!
