So last week while planning the party during multiple dull meetings, I employed my google-fu to find cake ideas for Burgundy. At one point, Satan prompted me to google "DIY Guitar Hero Cake." Wow, that looks great. I was a bit dubious after that first picture but you pulled it off!

Thanks! I'm still preening. I have to tell you, I didn't think I was going to pull it off, either! But I learned bunches about fondant, and I might even try making a batch of my own, soon. The Wilton white fondant was kinda crusty, but I didn't know it until I pulled out the colored stuff and realized that, "Oh. It's not supposed to be harder to roll out than crusty cat turds. What a relief."

OMG, I can imagine trying the same with Burgundy. If a 6-year-old had come within 17 miles of that cake, I might have fainted from fear and stress.

Don't you wish such a lie was the worst thing our parents had done to us? I'm sure Burgundy does too. Trying not to dwell on that.
