Kiki wasn't used to being taller than her friend, and when she sat down at the other end of the couch, it was another odd idle observation in a whole week of oddity.

"How are you, Lana?" Kiki smiled at her friend.

Lana smiled half-heartedly at her friend. "I'm okay. Just... everything's so overwhelming, you know. And it's all so screwed up. How are you doing?"

Kiki raised an eyebrow. "Lana? I'm a boy."

She burst into giggles. "I'm sorry but - it's so absurd now, I can't even blush over it anymore. I'm a lot less uptight about it now that I know it's just going to wear off. Thank goodness."

Lana smiled at her. "I remember when Han turned into a girl. Did you know him then? I remember he and Shep were fascinated by the idea of being the other sex. But I think it would be a lot easier if you just turned into the boy version of yourself. It's being in a body that belongs to someone *else* that's upsetting."

She hesitated, biting her lip. "So... what's it like? Having... you know..." She doesn't mind saying the words, but she doesn't want to embarrass Kiki too much.

Yazoo wasn't sure whether to knock or just walk in. Even though he was in Kiki's body, didn't mean he lived here and had a right to just waltz in.

Not that he would waltz anywhere.

But he did want to check on Kiki and make sure she was doing okay so he propped the broom across his shoulders, hanging his arms over it and tapped at the door with the broomstick before stepping back.

Lana went over to open the door. "Kiki!" she exclaimed, then realized what she said. "Oh, sorry. For a minute, I thought... Please, come in. You must be Yazoo."
