It would save us a lot on fuel and the energy crisis. Although, it would definitely help if America was still more town oriented and had small shops and farms in and around the towns instead of just complexes of variety shops in the larger cities with the smaller towns for localized living to support the cities.
We need to get back to the basics ;)
