I am here in Hawaii where the weather is even better than in L.A. (sorry, my dear New-Englanders) and being thoroughly pathetic. I, myself, have been awake for almost two hours (it is 6 a.m.) positively lousy with European jet lag. I have been in Paris. It has been Good.
Here are some things I worry about these days. Perhaps you can relate to some of them.
1) What exactly should I get a graduate degree in? I know I want it to be something that would prepare me to become a diplomat or a State Department worker, but what? Am I being silly to consider applying before actually pinning down what I want to do?
2) Am I really going to be happy living alone in my Charlestown apartment until Daniel graduates?

Really, you shouldn't be focusing on where the 14-year-old-you were supposed to be when you were 23. What did you know about anything then anyway?
