Sick!

May 04, 2007 04:49

Sunday morning on the ride to University Park, PA I was rudely awaken with excruciating adominal pain, nausea and dry heaves, a fever and chills. I bolted out of my bunk and begged the driver to pull over because I knew something really terrible was about to happen to me. As I ran to find a bathroom at the gas station, I knew this familiar ( Read more... )

How are you feeling now? I hope this doesn't make me look like a stalker, but I read a comment [of yours] on the MCR comm, and thought I'd check out your journal.

Urk, poor you falling prey to the Chikin of D00m - sounds absolutely hideous. You have my sympathy and love (and I pass these sentiments on to everyone suffering right now) :( Like you said, salmonella isn't anything you'd wish on your worst enemies... *slaps venue and catering up the head for the 5000000th time*

PS uh, perhaps this counts as continuing on the stalker theme O.o (I scare me sometimes) but I'm curious as to what your job entails, or what it's "official" title is. Sounds like you have one of the best jobs in the world (eh, with maybe the food poisoning as an obvious exception to the rule!!) - A hell of a lot better than my nursery anyway!

*ponders a moment*...*shycuddle*

Thank you for asking...I'm still feeling lousy, but no where near as bad as I was a few days ago. I think the meds the docs put me on are finally working though not fast enough. I'm still grateful for any improvement! :-(

Thank u for the sympathy and love, its greatly appreciated and I will pass it on to my ailing tourmates. :-)

I'm a production coordinator on the tour though in the past I've worn different hats like wardrobe, dressing rms, tour publicist, production assistant, band assistant, etc. It is a pretty cool gig and pretty darn awesome working on this tour as everyone is super nice and very cool!

*hug*

Damn, meds = really bad. So glad you're starting to get better, though. (happy vibes? http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2026781982 Can you tell I was bored/in desperate need to lighten the situation? *snerk* My sense of humour sucks rocks)

And yeah, I was right, your job sounds infinitely better than mine! I don't even think that's a case of 'the grass is greener' or 'hell, my job sucks' - well, ok, my job does suck - but I rather think it's because I'm not in the job that's right for me (and no, shit pay doesn't help!).

I almost threw up a little reading that. :(
