Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Warning - comics geekery.

Aside from riffing off the main theme for The Tick for the main theme for this show, it really satisfies in terms of being a fan of DC Comics. They're using a lot of characters that aren't as well-known to the casual comic reader - Red Tornado, Plastic Man, Etrigan, Guy Gardiner, B'Wana ( Read more... )

Last week's had Kamandi. And Deadman, who was dressed like the Spectre at the beginning, which confused. It's always fun to see which character they're going to dredge up next on that show. All looking like Dick Sprang art from the 1950s!

No kidding - every time they showed Kamandi I could have sworn they raised Jack Kirby from the dead to do the show. And yeah, I thought it was the Spectre for a moment as well, at least until he started talking. There's no way the Wrath of God would have an accent like that....
