Thank you! And I get what you mean about fresh - it's been so long since I watched Manhunt, let alone the pilot episode, I definitely had to do some youtubing to get Syd back into my head.

And I didn't start this intending to give them a baby, but I followed Michael and Syd to the table and whoop, there he was. LOL. :)

What a lovely slice of that world -- usually I'm the one who writes about the ancillary characters but this beats me all hollow. Nice rhythm and, as always, great dialog -- even better when you realize how long it's been since the show was airing.

Wow, this was great! I must say, when you told me you were writing this I wondered how you would do it because it seemed a difficult prompt to me. You did a great job and everyone was in character. I could see this happening!
Makes me smile to see this after time happiness.

P.S Don't leave town? A nod to Castle? lol

Heh re your PS. Not really - if it was Castle related, it would have been more, "uh, don't leave town?" (I have been rewatching S1 and S2 on my hols) *g*
