Oh, this is lovely and making me all nostalgic. It's fantastic and respectable that you've told this giant story with so few words. I particularly love the second-to-last section, because I would hope that she remained a part of their lives even if the show kind of forgot about her.

Awww I loved this and yet it makes me so sad. Poor Veronica she deserves to be remembered. Thanks for making them the highlight of this piece! I love the history of the brothers and her that you've created here. The repetition of "the girl who's been a part of their lives for so very long" was particularly effective :)

I absolutely love this. It's so good to read about these two - it always seems fresh, stories that include Veronica are so few and far between. And I really, really cared for her.

I meant to say too, that this:

He stands in the doorway and looks at them in faint disbelief. How can “I never want to see you again, you jerk!” turn into this so fast, he thinks, then they turn to look at him in perfect unison.

Lincoln scowls, his hand stilling on Vee’s shoulder. “What?”

Michael shrugs at his brother’s indignant query, turning on his heel to go back to his homework, knowing that he will never understand how this stuff works.

was so great. I just saw it all so clearly, and Lincoln's annoyance. *sigh* Only Linc can be such a douche and I still love him. ;-)
