Anyway..what I love most about this fic is the fact that you simply do not rush with it, you describe and express every single gesture, mimic, expression, word, and I love you for that, because this way, one can savour and enjoy the fic - and the chatacters - the more.
Thank you. When I write, I need to be able to 'see' what's happening - for me, it's the only way for me to know whether what I'm making these characters do or say are things they would actually do or so and not just wishful thinking on my own part.
but a couple of days ago, you asked your flist for advice on how to proceed if changing a thing from the canon in your fic, well, it imediately came to my mind - although maybe utterly unjustified and incorrect - when i was reading about michaels brain surgery..did it have to do something with that?Ah, yes, sorry for being vague with that question, but I didn't want to spoil for this chapter. Beautiful, Jen. Truly beautiful.
Everything is very ordinary, a litany of tasks she does every single day, almost without thinking, but she feels as though she’s doing each and every one for the first time.
My diagnosis? She's in love. I'm sure the other patient will feel exactly the same when he's brushing his teeth and putting on his jammies!! My prognosis is that sooner or later they will need to get a room...
The canon is as cleverly interwoven here as in the last chapter; even down to the hypothalamic hamartoma...so much better than how it was handled in that season that dare not speak it's name!! So much more realistic, for a start!
“He told me I was behaving like a spoiled, immature brat, and maybe I was just disappointed because knowing the truth meant I couldn’t make myself feel better by comparing my life to his anymore.”
Wise Lincoln! He was right!
“Oh, he punched me back,” he says casually, “and it was at that moment I remembered something important that ( ... )

LOL. Do you think maybe it's because I took a few minutes to actually research the condition, unlike MO and NS?
I tried very hard to keep Michael and Lincoln's relationship on the right track, despite this being AU, and if you approve, then hot damn, that's good enough for me! *dances*
Thanks so much, and yes, I'm doing okay. *hugs you back*

Oddly enough, yes I do! The whole tumour thing worked far better in your hands!! The inclusion of so many details from PB AU canon made this a far better alternative and all it took was for Lincoln to go and confess to his brother what he'd done instead of going to that garage to change the whole premise! It helped that both Michael and Sara were invited to the wedding too, of course, but fate sometimes conspires to bring soul mates together somehow, don't you think ( ... )
