wishing for a moment he could afford the luxury of a dose of Dutch courage
Was that a shout-out? LOL
Not your usual type, I have to say
My favorite line because that is exactly how I feel about Michael Scofield The Went so that makes identifying with Sara so much easier.
Michael stays in his seat when the groom tosses the bride’s carter to the huddle of single men
As you know I am not a fan of traditions or rituals so I always struggle with fic that involves babies, holidays and especially weddings but in this case it helps because I think Michael feels very out of place, like I do.
So I like this a lot as well:
struck with a healthy dose of second-hand embarrassment, Sara makes a mental note to eradicate this particular event from her own wedding should she ever get marriedI am just happy they are out of there and going for coffee but the dialog and anticipation is fantastic as always ( ... )

Let me tell you this though, i love the perfection and lightness with which you master the dialogue as well as exchange of any kind, as well as their private thoughts, so well and skillfully. its like you truly knew them, or maybe its that i like your interpretation of them better and whenever the cannon gave us unsatisfactory insight into them, i fill in the gap with YOUR discription of them.
simply perfect jen. thank you.

“I went to the bathroom,” she says automatically, then winces. “And I see we’re still over-sharing.”
Out of all the lines I could pull out I had to nab this one because it made me literally laugh out loud. I've been there where you blurt out something embarassing without thinking about it. I once mistakenly told a guy the reason I missed his call was because I was in the bathroom with an upset stomach. Not the best conversation starter as it turned out. LOL.
Great chapter and yayyyy for coffee coming up soon!
