And I have more ideas than my head can possibly handle, and not enough words. Writing is hard. :\

I hope you went to bed instead of beating your head against a wall. Sometimes the best thing is some distance. Glad you're writing again though!

I'm very glad I'm writing again too!

As for wedding reception traditions.... if this is for the couple in your icon, south side Chicago traditions have some regional quirks.... worth finding a good local guide! (Not me, lol! last one I went to was 15 years ago...)

I get enough deadlines with the work writing -- this part of my writing life is supposed to be a recuperation from that!

Nell's right, there are regional aspects of American weddings that are pretty specific, but there are also generational ones. I barely recognize the wedding rituals of my youth in the events I attend today.

Tell me something - why do American weddings feature the bride and groom shoving cake in each other's faces? Whyyyyyyyyy?

I had the same sort of night last night. I was up til almost 2 trying to make word count for NaNo! I ended up with 1370 of 1667 to write today though so I'm mostly pleased if tired today. Sometimes the words are like pulling teeth!

Oh, you almost made it, though - that was a great effort!

Hey, Legend of the Seeker starts in Oz on 29th November, right from the start. I'm going to watch it because I need UST in my television life. :P

Ah, writers funk, grand!

What do you need to know about my fair peoples wedding reception traditions, I may be able to help... I was a brides maid not too long ago. Kill me.

The order of how stuff happens, basically. LOL. *g*

You mean, like the bouquet toss, the cake and the garter belt? If you do, I think that really all depends on what the couple wants, or how drunk everyone is.

Gah, the giff next to this reply box is distracting!

Need specifics, m'dearie!
