I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for this fic. With it, you give this very important part of the plot a realism and a depth that I think we all were craving...Thank you for making an already great S4-canon so much more wonderful. I think 'filling in the gaps' is just the way my brain is wired. The very first fic I ever wrote back in 1999 was a 'fleshing out' story, and while I soon moved onto 'stand alone' fics, I still really, REALLY love writing missing scenes.
