I just watched that episode recently. And got quite surprised when I realized it was Robert Knepper! Yes, fandoms colliding is a very interesting phenomenon. I've been known to realize years after I watched a certain show that an actor I grew to love in some other show was in it, and then I give my best to find the DVDs or old episodes or something and go back and watch it all, just to be able to check that actor out.
