My mum and her friend used to make "homemade" cherry liquor chocolates at Christmas time. I'm pretty sure you can guess that many, many of them never made it to the box. That was about the same time they were drinking Baby Duck champagne out of the bottle LOL. Those crazy '80's!!!

I love the elements of Sara that you explore in this fic.
How it's not about chocolate at all but how far she can push things, her own little thrilling game that wonderfully sets up her adult struggles with addiction.
Young Sara stories are my favourites besides M/S ones, everyone's take on what made her become an addict and when, and I just love what you've done here.
I guess it's always part of an addicts personality and this was such a fabulous example of how innocently it could have started in Sara's case.

I *so* want some more backstory for her. When did her mother die, for example? Was it related to her drinking or something else? When did Sara first go off the rails and stop being Daddy's perfect little girl? *makes grabby hands*

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It felt like a bit of an odd idea at first, but I couldn't shake it from my head.

Although now I'm craving cherry liqueur chocolates, and I don't even like them, lol!

Wow. I don't know what to say! I spend every free moment I had today working on this and for the most part, I wasn't too happy with it. But there came a moment when what I was trying to do finally seemed to match what I was actually doing, and then I started thinking it might turn out okay.

So, thank you very much, for making me feel as though I didn't waste all those free moments, lol!
