60 stories! You're tops, luv ya work.
Adore the cranky Sara, the hopeful Michael, those Burrows boys and what I love the most was the way you brought us into the scenes, it's all so clear and I love the imagery of the inside of the church (from both Michael and Sara's stories)sitting in the back together like turtle doves with the candles lit up ahead and the choir. And also of them playing with crackers after church, and then the end in front of the Christmas lights together. I loved those three things in particular. On a lighter note I also adored the danger that Linc and Michael were in when the rum was gone. EEEEP.
You gave them a happy Christmas and I don't care if it's classed as fluff (though it's a nice balance I think) because that's what I'm after right now. They deserve it. Hell yeah they do.
*smooshes and validates*

Eeeeeh. Thank you, thank you. I cannot believe I've written 60 stories in this fandom. I wrote *constantly* in the LFN fandom for quite a few years and I produced nowhere near as many as that. *boggles*

I'm so glad you like this - I wanted to give them a nice first Christmas, but of course it wouldn't be without its own special drama. They *do* deserve it, and canon as it stands now can bite my Christmas-wrapped butt. *g*

Yay! I bet it feels nice to have to that out of your head and all on the page! You know I have a soft spot for a bit of Michael/Sara conflict and bickering, and so naturally, I loved the rum bit. I also love that they find a way to navigate the angst that will follow them for a long time, with a grace that really highlights the solid relationship they've forged. Do you have any idea how much I love this couple? Yeah...I think you do. *g*

And thanks for the cracker crown/skin/shenanigans!

It certainly does. It's been tough finding the time to finish it with all the Christmas madness going on around here, but I was determined to get it done last night.

I also love that they find a way to navigate the angst that will follow them for a long time, with a grace that really highlights the solid relationship they've forged.

Oh, so do I! They've got some fabulous conflict resolution skills, these two. I love making them have 'normal couple' fights, because I know what else lies beneath the surface and it makes it all the more important that they do whatever they can to work through their issues. *loves them*

And thanks for the cracker crown/skin/shenanigans!

Heh. Merry Christmas, my dear. *g*

Seriously, it made me forget how nauseous I was for about 10 minutes LOL. And that's saying something.

*hugs*

Thanks so much, that's very nice of you. I don't know how talented I think I am when I'm pulling out my hair in the wee hours of the morning and thinking what I've just spent two hours writing is crap, but I'm happy to take your word for it, lol!

Merry Christmas to you, too!

I still have problems reading Michael and Sara fic because of 'you know what.' That has nothing to do with my love for the characters and your amazing writing talent so I can simply not ignore your stories.

There are so many great moments: LJ's and Sara's grief, Michael's perfection, The Church, the swimming and of course the end......

There were times when he was so very afraid she would become one of those lost souls, a memory to be mourned for the rest of his life, and the thought of it still has the power to chill his blood.

Shivers down my spine.

I know what you mean. I can't read anything (or write anything, for that matter) that's not AU post-S3 and I know I've missed out on some great fic, but that's just how it is for me. It even took me a long time to be able to contemplate writing in this universe again, hence the dabbling with the RPF, which has been a Godsend.

Anyway, enough of me going on and on. Thank you so much for the kind words, and do you realise you put The Church in capital letters? *snickers*
