You can't always get what you want - Operator Please
Yay! *high five* Hey, speaking of this - I've been meaning to make a Sleep City Mix (ie all Brissy bands, baby!) for LJ since June, but haven't gotten around to it. But now I'm kinda tempted.

I would love you to make that mix! Don't forget the Go Betweens. *g*

I may be on a 'bad Disney guy' song spree. As a specimen yes he's intimidating.

It has been a week you know, and its been so hard because YouTube is my default screen. Also, my intervention lady miss_vacant has been away, so I have been doubly good.
But, thank you god!
OK, I wonder if you have been thinking about the illicit affair for our iPods? I reckon, in my top 20 songs of all time is speak like a child and Kissing The Pink (do you have the 12 inch version of this?) I LOVE this
Double Dutch...anything by Pet Shop Boys (they were HUGE on the dancefloor, yes) and Neneh...I cannot breathe, but I am also not going to post, because I have been so good I am simply going to put all these on big screen, put the kids in jammies and make daggy boy dance (well, he will probably run through the house)
I love. All of them. And thanks.

Stolen Car - Beth Orton
Stripped - Depeche Mode
Kiss Me - Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy
Icing on the Cake - Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy (again!)

From the other three, there is not a bad Depeche Mode song I know - funny how their 'most famous' songs are not their best, and S. Tin Tin Duff? I dont listen to alot, but enjoyed the posting.
Yazz is grate, as is Alison Moyet in Yazoo.

And the awesomeness of Lisa Marie with Malcom Mc (I had totally forgotten about this) and the start of Never too Late to love you? that singing. And the guitar at the start of double dutch?
Yeah, OK, so not all are popular here, but I LOVE them, and Im going to watch more.
btw, I think I have to acknowledge my addiction to red wine and YouTube - there are worse things.

I have some very odd things in my record collection, and you're one of the few people outside my hubby and circle of RL friends who seems to know every single song I ever post on my LJ, lol!

I have to post one, because we are huge Stansfield fans here - even the boy who will never dance, but scare the kids with jumping is a Lisa fan. And that curl, I had one!
I woke up with your name on my lips
I woke up with your lips in my on my imagination...woo hoo hoo.

Remember when she sang with Cold Cut?

I absolutely love The Jam and 'A beat for you?' Yes, very much, but Im very horrified by sub-standard sound and clips. Your RL friends indulge your musical lust? Hmm, mine turn off - my oldest dearest school friends tell me to shut up, but one of the partners of this group of girls is a total music nerd, so thats good. The bloke here also has major loves for all genres, its just his attitude to dancing which is horrendous.
I would rather read something awful than listen to a scratchy sound. Now Im off to look at your second posting.

Pseudo Echo and the Jam? I was thinking of Theres a beat for you, in my heart...heh.
But Beat Surrender? *a little more vague* hunts for The Jam
