A-LA: A necessary respite.

I'm very glad I came to this event rather than go with some of my first instincts and shuttle back and forth between home and the City of Hope.

I am reconnecting with a whole slew of geeky friends. Tadao-san, lodrelhai, happypickle, dburr, the A-LA crew, etc. Geeks is good folks, like I always say

It was great seeing you and meeting Jim. Both Chad and I had a lot of fun, and I will definitely be coming to the next A-LA. (Probably NOT Loscon... right around the Thanksgiving-Christmas time frame is always exceedingly busy for me. Plus time and financial constraints mean I can really only attend a limited number of cons per year.)
