You never did say whether this had a FireWire port on it, so the video can be gotten out of the camera and into your computer.

It definitely has a firewire port, and it is a two-way port, meaning that you can print to tape from it. It's no longer an issue anymore for me because of that DV recording deck I obtained, but it is most definitely a handy thing. This also has an external mic jack. Which neither one of my Sony camcorders had. It can't do FW bridge, unfortunately, but I don't think the high-end Canon ZR930 could do that either.

Believe me, if this did not have a FW port it would have been a deal-breaker.

I heard that he was over at Warner's working on yet another version of looney tunes. I'll ask around and see what I can find.
