I met him in Colorado, briefly. He'd just seen my ex-husband banging me around pretty good and he slipped me a copy of one of his song tapes in hope it would provide some comfort. He seemed to instinctively know that the situation wasn't one I could escape from just yet.

I treasure those songs. Isaac had a wonderful voice and a wonderful personality. They've been digitized and put in several places on our servers so that I'll never lose them.
