Despite my bitching, there is a lot I love about SV. I bought the series box set for a reason.

Chloe is my favorite character of ALL TIME and I don't always hate on Clark. He has his moments. He can be downright adorable when he smiles all goofy and proud. It's just when he's up against my Lex his hypocrisy really shines.

The show always seemed to have Clark and Lana jumping to completely wrong conclusions and mistrusting Chloe and Lex on a weekly basis--it was so strange that we were supposed to believe that they were all such great friends when there was so much distrust in every relationship.

and Chlex are the best characters. Never really seen much of a friendship with Chloe/Lana. It seemed like a whole lot of Chloe being there for Lana, but I have to admit there's a little bit of give and take in season two.

Clark's accusatory tone with Chloe so reminds me of how he is with Lex.

I think it's very telling that usually when Lana and/or Clark did something wrong/shady/questionable... they were much more willing to tell it Lex and/or Chloe than the person they were SO in love with.

I just had to dig up this quote because it so fits. I don't always agree with these comics alliance guys as they hate on Chloe (but they only started watching in the last season, so what background do they have to do anything else?). But thus quote always struck me

I'd correct one thing from that quote. Clark had TWO asshole fathers.
