My laceweight qiviut arrived today!

Perhaps I will make cable socks. They'll take longer, which with the qiviut is a plus. And they'll be warmer than plain stockinette.

I just ordered four ounces of qiviut yarn. (look here)

I got some last December, and made myself a hat and scarf, which are wonderful. Now I want socks. But DAMN, this is lace-weight, so I'm gonna be using, like, size 00 needles (not as big as toothpicks, for the non-knitters out there). But what soft, warm socks I'll have!
