That's a beautiful process of discovery there, and it offers, despite the sadness, a hint at optimism... You're exploration into Laura's motives and feelings and such is interesting... definitely interesting, since I've saw her 'break' as a way to step back and gain a clearer view of what she's doing/has done all of this for as well, except, I never thought of it as a regrouping of strength and a way to guide the fleet... definitely interesting.

The end there is beautiful... Bill's determination to just BE there for her. Hmm... (^_^)

Thanks muchly, it was just a bit of a different spin on her decision, I'm sure that's not what RDM had in mind but I like to think that even at this point, she's still trying to be of service to the fleet, it's her MO after all. It's going to be so bittersweet watching the rest of this epicness play out these coming weeks and I for one canot wait to see where they take us.

And I loved the entire ending, about his thoughts and how he would remember her. Gorgeous. ♥

Thanx, I had that part mostly written for some time but it needed a sort of catalyst and when I started writing this fic, it kind of fell into place naturaly, funny how that works sometimes.
