You played with a band that is playing with the Sword?! So fucking rad.
"One guy apologized for Spokane and said we deserved a full house."...sounds familiar. I've apologized to a touring band, for the entire town, a few times. I guess I've missed shows I should have attended, probably part of the problem and cause for someone else to apologize to a touring band for the whole town.
"I've learned that nice is very important when you're a touring band. Nice goes a long way." I learned that pretty quickly, working the door at the 3b. Poor little touring bands (real touring bands, not the ones that just drove up from Seattle with their egos crowding the van) were the easiest to deal with, do sound for, serve, pay out at the end of the night. They acted like they were actually working and were gracious and thankful for the chance to do it. Even if the turnout was so bad that we ended up apologizing for the town.
I'm so glad you guys liked the Black Cobras. I had my cities wrong, but I dig them... Any time you wanna come hang and eat some dank-ass breakfast burritos, I'm down.
I'm visiting Graham right now. I gave him the cd you guys gave us so he could hear the new tunes. Save me one in so I can grab it in June? He was so stoked to get it.
I'm glad you guys are out there rockin' it. If you ever decide to come back to this horrible town, just let me know! We'll just do a trailer show, okay?
