I'm still majorly conflicted about Children of Earth. I haven't seen it since it aired and my DVD (that came the day after Day 5 aired) is still in plastic ( ... )

Oooh, I'll have to find which book it was and reread it. It was the same one that had the Glee reference...which probably means it's The Forgotten Army because it's set in modern day :D

But it was pretty much 'that time he started chanting'

I don't really care if they bring back Ianto, Jack or Gwen or build a new team BUT they must bring back Chibnall as head writer and James Moran, Joesph Lidster, Catherine Treganna and (if he will do it) Phil Ford to script the show, it was not the same with these writers.

I want to say that Torchwood went belly up when Gwen was being push on the audience as the base of the show, but I just don't like her. I'm not say to redo it without her, because people need someone to hate in a show. Torchwood at the end just left a bad taste in my mouth. Everyone worth anything is dead and the character the show is suppose to be about leave.

I'm sort of weird I watched Torchwood before Doctor Who. I know stupid American. But it make me worry, is all British shows this stupid that the writers and creators won't listen to what the viewers want?

I would love and watch Torchwood again if they down play Gwen's role as they should and not act so homophobic with Ianto and Jack's relationship. Because this is the first time I seen an openly gay and realistic relationship on a prime time show. But it was treated as if Jack really wanted Gwen(female), but just dealing with Ianto(male). But I might be wrong.

This is actually reminding me a lot of 'old Trek' vs. 'Trek reboot' in that there is now a whole new universe to play with ( ... )

I'd like a clone of Ianto back (if we can't have the real thing) a man trying to work out who he is, is he his own self? Or just a copy of a dead man.

I'd like for John to be the one to have Ianto cloned to cheer Jack up or some other odd John like reason.
