Earlier today I felt like using my online writing time to complain but thankfully the power was out all across the city, i felt like i had a malarial fever, and i checked into a hotel to turn on the AC and take a nap. so now i can write a slightly more positive, but maybe unintentionally backhanded entry

Awww. I'm so jealous of all the experiences you're having. I don't know if I would have the guts to do what you're doing, but I certainly covet absorbing all the world has to offer.

Are you going to be back in P-town anytime...like ever? I know we'd all love to see you!

I'll be back in June! My summer's up in the air. I turned down some pretty sweet traveling/researching positions so now I'm waiting to see what will flal in my lap!

I hope you're doing well. Did you transfer to Western? I'm jealous of all you english majors. I miss reading :)

Ah, you might miss reading, but at least you have a future. I have no concept of what to do with my life and even less prospects. I applied to...dozens of internships in various areas (mainly publishing and theatre admin stuff) and was utterly ignored; though I've now determined that rejection is not the worst thing that can happen, b/c at least then your existence is acknowledged.I'm still at UMich, I'm just taking a couple classes there this summer so that I can graduate on time w/o killing myself next year.

I'm sure something will come up for this summer. Be sure to let us know if you'll be around!! :-)
