I need to go through the kitchen cupboards too. I kept stuff from my Mum's which I really don't need. But I'll get this room sorted first.

Hah! I spent Sunday sorting and tossing, too! Oh, waiting, I can't say that in British. Er, discarding. :-) In the stack I discovered a box that was apparently a box I'd thrown things in to sort through later and never did. About eight years ago. Well, now it's done!

I do that too! Usually plastic carrier bags. I find them thinking there is something really exciting inside, look inside and find a whole load of crap I couldn't face going through previously!!

I still have loads to get through, but this effort was well worthwhile!

I was talking to someone who saw on one of those organization shows that you should throw one thing away every day and not replace it.

I have a huge cluttered kitchen and my drawers are simply embarrassing to let anyone else see. LOL Good for you! I have to make myself do that soon, maybe in April when I'm not crazy busy.

Cheers!

I tried the 'one thing a day' for a while. It was good as it didn't seem such a big job that way. But getting a whole load shifted like this was WONDERFUL!
