Today was rugby league grand final day at Old Trafford. We go to this every year irrespective of who gets through to the final. This year I wanted Leeds to beat St Helens, but seriously doubted that they would. Consequently I couldn't get much enthusiasm up for the day ( Read more... )

OMG San Carlo looks heavenly! And there are even a selection of things I could eat on that menu - I think I'm going to cry.

It really was lovely. Everthing was perfectly cooked and the flavours were fantastic.

We managed 3 courses (and then didn't need anything else all day) and I would seriously go and have exactly the sme again today and be happy. e are off on another foody expedition today though...!

Hello! Glad that the Manchester one is as good as the one in Brum - I'll pass on the thanks to my brother :)

Hmm, suspicious about the Russell Crowe picture, I wonder which one of the two he has been to - I suspect it's the Manchester one rather than the one in Brum.

Aha! At least we know what the problem was with the webcam session, maybe next weekend?

Didn't you ask this (about Russ) in Brum and they said it was Manchester? Or am I hallucinating that? We have already decided we are going to book here for our "Christmas Do" (which is just the two of us!!). We are just kicking ourselves it took so long to get round to it!!
