updates and other random things, with pictures

First, baby update. My nephew, who was born 12 weeks early, is doing really well. They moved him downstairs to where the less critical NICU babies are a couple of weeks ago and yesterday he hit 3 pounds. So, things are looking good. Here he is:

We were worried about him for a while, but he's doing very well. He's a hit with the nurses.

He's doing very well. We're just trying to get things together for when he comes home.

My nephew's come very far from where he was, because for a while there we were pretty worried. But he's doing great, he's a fighter, that's for sure.

As for Brandon's ink, it really did turn out well. The guy who did it did a fantastic job. It looks so much better than the picture though, the intricacy of the shading, especially inside the cross, looks really incredible close up. He said it hurt like hell towards the end. I was like you just had yourself stabbed repeatedly in the arm for two hours, of course it hurt.
