I could probably sit outside and watch the bees all day. I'm lucky, for Seattle, in that I have a stoop to sit on in the mornings, partly shaded by a climbing rose, with a swoopy wrought iron railing covered in scarlet-flowering beans and a big patch of lavender at its foot. I've let the california poppies run riot in the squash bed - they're not

I want a yard that I can plant stuff in! WAAAAAHHHH!!!!

However, this post was definitely the next best thing. I could even feel the cool, slightly moist air being warmed by the early sunshine. :)

Where in Tacoma are you guys living? I'm moving back next month & am hoping to get involved in the community garden network. Maybe there's room for a P patch in your neck of the woods???
