The difference between Heechul's grandmother and Jungsoo being friends even though Jungsoo is a vampire and Kyu trying to be friends with Hyuk is that Kyu loves or likes Hyuk not just as a friend but for a girlfriend so the dynamics are different. But I do agree that Kyu shouldn't judge so quickly
