Oh, Oh, Oh HOLYFUCKINGCOW my beautiful new camera just arrived! I am going to be seriously busy with this over the next few days... I would have really liked a digital SLR (probably a Nikon) but the budget doesn't stretch that far,and as I'm interested in low light photography, I thought I'd go for this model. I hope its good. Actually, I read very good reviews about this camera in Consumer Reports, so I don't think you have much to worry about. As for a digital SLR, I just got a 10.1 megapixel Canon Rebel, and it's fabulous. That or a Nikon would definitely be your best bet when the budget allows. :)

Ah, now I have camera envy! Although it has to be said, I am bonding nicely with my Finepix :)
