I think so. I enjoy them for what they are worth. I love the action scenes in them. The chase seen in the second one in Moscow has got to be my second favorite of all (Children of Men being the #1)

Actions movies done right. Good plot, good acting, believable fight scenes... everything was done well. And no reliance on cgi or those silly Hong Kong 'magic-foo' done with wires and gymnist.

I like the movies. I have yet to see the third one.
Have you read the books? The books are similarly good, but the story is not the same. A lot of things in the book are just kind of not there. In the book for example Nikki is an old lady, and ends up dead in a cathedral in either Madrid or Barcelona (can't recall), at the hands of Carlos the Jackal. Granted the books were written 20 something years ago, during the cold war, so there is some stuff in there that relates to that.

I wouldn't like to read a book about this topic- that much I know. And hour and a half movie? No problem... I just like the fight scenes. A book? Naw.
