What about third-party candidates? There's talk of Mike Gravel running as an independent, and there's always the Green Party.

Because its a wasted vote. I want to BLOCK Obama. If it is McCain Vs Obama, voting for a third party that doesn't even have a chance is a vote that helps Obama. This isn't about "principals" but about blocking someone who I feel is dangerous to the United States in that office.

The truth is that until the US adopts a parliamentary system, it will always be red vs blue. Independents have no chance at the white house.
