That's because Chicago Public School teachers just signed a new 5 year contract. Money wise, we did well...but too many other things were lost. Like job security. I'm off to get a second masters just to keep my job. Ridiculous.

And I just noticed 4.2 could be read as "42" ... at which point, according to Douglas Adams, 42 is the answer to Life, The Universe & Everything. :D

Also, I turned 42 this year and have decided to interpret that in the same way.
